In this region, we are following prayer timings as per Edmonton schedule and Masjid An' Noor for Yearly Prayer Schedule
Mission Statement
Our mission is to build a modern Islamic Centre to meet the needs of the Muslim community of Yellowknife. The Centre will be a multi-purpose facility that will have a prayer hall, youth recreation hall, a library and an Islamic school.
“By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, etc., it mean here Allah’s Reward, i.e. Paradise), unless you spend (in Allah’s Cause) of that which you love; and whatever of good you spend, Allah knows it well”. (Al-Quran, 3:92)
The Prophet (peace, salutations and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“The most beloved of places to Allah is the Masjid, and the most detested of places to Allah is the marketplace.” [Sahîh Muslim]
